Colleen McLellan is a nonprofit advancement professional, advocate, and enthusiast for community-building programs. She lives in Detroit’s beautiful East English Village. After over a decade of experience in health education, civic engagement, and grants management, she began working as a development consultant with Detroit and metro area nonprofits. The Change Collective offers a unique opportunity to examine the sources of deep change in communities. Colleen is especially interested in learning from her cohort about how to identify and examine the kinds of power that people and institutions can wield in changemaking, and how marginalized community members can reclaim that power.
