Kadin Love is a dedicated community organizer and advocate from Hattiesburg, MS. He graduated from Ridgeland High School in 2017 and earned an Associate’s Degree in psychology from Hinds Community College in 2019. Continuing his education at the University of Southern Mississippi, Kadin also began his activism work with Advocates for Youth, lobbying in Washington D.C for reproductive justice and LGBTQIA rights.
In 2020, he joined the Movement for Black Lives and worked on legislative campaigns. Kadin also became involved with BYP100 and Color of Change PAC, focusing on election protection. In 2021, he joined Advocates for Youth’s Abortion Out Loud team where he worked for 2 years to help secure abortion access during the fight for Roe v. Wade in Jackson, MS. By 2022, he worked on community sustainability projects with BYP100’s Jackson Chapter and was selected for the Young Climate Leaders of Color inaugural cohort. In 2023, he became a regional director at the civil and human rights nonprofit JULIAN, tackling biomass pollution issues, and was promoted to state organizing director in 2024, a position he held for 6 months. He has also been a part of the National Coalition for Sexual Health’s Young Adult Advisory Group since 2022.
