Love Latonia is a multi-faceted woman of trans experience residing in the Jackson, MS area. As the director of Awakening Love, she is dedicated to supporting trans and gender nonconforming individuals in achieving self-determination and empowerment. Through her leadership, she strives to create a safe and inclusive environment for all. Love is particularly passionate about gathering and analyzing data on the transgender community in Mississippi to better understand their needs and advocate for their rights.
In her personal life, she enjoys baking, with banana nut bread being her favorite treat. Love’s commitment to her community and her enthusiasm for fostering growth and understanding make her a valuable contributor to the Change Collective experience.
