Damaris E. Doss is a fundraising professional and proud Detroit native. She is a 2018 graduate of the University of Michigan with a degree in music and minor in performing arts management. For the past eight years she has worked in fundraising for various arts and education nonprofits, including the University of Michigan and Detroit Symphony Orchestra.
Currently, she serves Teach For America Detroit as Director of Development fulfilling her passion of redistributing wealth and resources to her deserving hometown. In 2021, she launched Make Me Over Ministry, a social media-based Christian ministry posting beauty tutorials and Bible teachings to promote faith and empower women. Her other passions include writing, music and researching her family history.
