Nicole Camargo is an immigrant from Colombia and an attorney at Legal Action Chicago. She graduated from Western Kentucky University in 2019 and Northwestern Law in 2022. Nicole works with immigrant and low-income populations in the public benefits landscape, and she is deeply committed to the advocacy and representation of all populations facing oppression due to colonialism, white supremacy, and profit-driven capitalism. She recognizes that these systems not only harm us, but also our planet and all sentient beings. Nicole is most excited about meeting and learning from others about the important work being done around immigration, housing, and community relationship building. She also looks forward to connecting with others who are also passionate about looking for solutions that center the voices of targeted communities.
