Brianna Bryant

Brianna Bryant leads as the Detroit and Wayne County Regional Community organizer for Planned Parenthood Advocates of Michigan. She graduated in 2023 with a degree in women and gender studies and applied arts. Brianna believes in inspiring the intersectionality of creativity and community for all. She stands at the forefront of advocating for women of color and gender minorities’ rights through the lens of community organizing, photography, documentary, and other multimedia art forms.

Her expertise falls within uplifting Black and Brown liberation and joy in each project and organizing efforts. For her intersections of social justice, art, and digital storytelling she has been featured in the Detroit Institute of Arts, TED Countdown, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and in Forbes 30 Under 30 2019 Summit. 

Brianna has previously worked at the University of Michigan-Dearborn as the Race, Ethnicity, and Intersectional Identities Program Assistant. She also currently serves as a fellow within the Resolution Project, Advocates For Youth’s Abortion Out Loud campaign, Condom Collective, and the #EC4EC project. With cross collaborative efforts within all positions she was able to help pioneer the University of Michigan-Dearborn’s first ever emergency contraception and health product vending machine. She has brought forth a surplus of free emergency contraception, condoms, menstrual products, and pregnancy tests to the greater Detroit and Dearborn area.
