Alicia Howell is the Founder of Courageous Coaching, LLC a training and transformational development company providing social emotional learning (SEL) and period education to communities serving women and youth to fight against period poverty. Alicia was born and raised in Detroit, MI and graduated in 2015 from Michigan State University with a degree in media and information and a minor in information technology. She worked in the IT industry for 3 years before realizing her passion for people and their personal development was what drove her.
With her greatest strength being problem-solving, alongside expertise as a certified life coach and sacred sexuality coach and knowledge from her self-healing journey from endometriosis, she has been able to free countless women from depression and period poverty through “The C.A.P.E (Courage. Action. Plan. Execute) Experience,” a signature proven system that provides clear, concise, and fast results. Additionally, Alicia is the founder of the “Courageous Queen” brand, a movement empowering girls and women to find the courage to “Make Periods Sacred Again.”
During the Change Collective program, Alicia plans to work on a strategy to equip 500 girls ages 9+ with SEL and period education through the Courageous Queen Period Education 6-week Program to improve their mental and menstrual health. Collecting data that proves SEL and period education reduce menstrual problems, ultimately leading to fewer mental health disorders and feminine health issues associated with endometriosis, PCOS, fibroids, cysts, and more.
