Jessica Shields is working in pursuit of reducing the social isolation of seniors and imbalanced impact of caregiving on women. Growing up in a tri-generational household founded this passion. Being a Detroit non-native, she is honored to be a part of the 2024 Change Collective cohort and is most excited for the challenge and inspiration that her peers will bring to transform passionate words into action. When she is not working on her Civic Action project, you will find her in a staring match with her turtle or watching the Lord of the Rings, extended edition.
