Janae L. Wilson, the Senior Operations Manager at ProsperUs Detroit, is a dedicated professional with a passion for fostering inclusive and diverse organizational cultures. At ProsperUs, she plays a pivotal role in organizational infrastructure including communications, events, IT, human resources, and facilities, ensuring an optimal working environment. Her journey includes impactful roles such as a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Program Intern at the Rock Family of Companies and Program Manager at Plug and Play Tech Center Detroit.
A Wayne State University alumna, Janae values continuous learning and improvement. Her entrepreneurial spirit is inspired by her family’s legacy of social justice and entrepreneurship. In addition to her commitment to ProsperUs Detroit, she serves as a business coach for the Association of Businesses of Color and a board member for Young Nonprofit Professionals Network Detroit chapter. Janae enjoys the vibrant life of Detroit, from shopping at local businesses to exploring neighborhood green spaces.
Through her participation in the Change Collective program, Janae aims to develop a Cooperative Business Accelerator for formerly incarcerated individuals. This project reflects her commitment to empowering marginalized communities and creating sustainable, community-centered economic opportunities.
