Brodrick has had a career working in various lighting tech, pyrotechnics, and engineering jobs in the entertainment industry. He moved on to work with the Walt Disney Company, Carnival Cruise Lines, Celebrity Cruises, Lollapalooza, South by Southwest, and the Houston Rodeo to name a few.
His most memorable moment is Super Bowl LI in 2017 where Lady Gaga was the featured halftime performance. He was exposed to a phenomenal crew of lighting designers, programmers, technicians, and stagehands. Brodrick began to understand the large-scale possibilities that would ultimately shape my decision to become a production and lighting designer. “Without verbal communication, I can communicate my vision through drawing, drafting, and rendering.”
