Dr. Caprica Wells

Dr. Caprica Wells is an educator and innovator known for her strength and compassion. She has spoken at numerous conferences and meetings, transforming audiences into revolutionary thinkers within their fields with her bridge-building speaking gift and humor. Raised as an only child in poverty by a single mother with schizophrenia, Dr. Wells connects with diverse groups, drawing from her experiences teaching and coaching in lower socio-economic schools. She earned degrees from Temple Junior College, Southwest Texas State University, and Texas A&M Kingsville, where she received both her Master’s and Doctorate in Education, along with Principal and Superintendent Certifications.

Dr. Wells authored the forthcoming book “I Am Me,” exploring the evolving nature of true identity. She has been a liaison between middle and high schools, received numerous teaching awards for her ability to motivate and inspire, and was honored as Who’s Who San Antonio Women. As an executive director in a school district, she continues to inspire and motivate others. Ordained as a minister in 2005 and as an elder in 2009, she lives in San Antonio and is a proud mother of two adult children.
