Taryn Tipton (she/her) is a first-generation college student from Flatonia, Texas, whose work has always been about creating spaces where people feel connected, valued, and supported. With degrees from Texas A&M University and Louisiana State University, she spent over a decade in teaching, higher education, and ministry before transitioning to nonprofit work. Now, Taryn partners with local nonprofits on program development, strategic planning, grant writing, and capacity building.
Taryn’s work centers women’s voices and prioritizes people over profit. She is passionate about exploring how workplaces can foster economic empowerment while honoring caregiving responsibilities, creating environments where women don’t have to sacrifice their careers to care for their families or compromise their family’s wellbeing to maintain financial security.
A staunch believer in the power of connection, Taryn is driven by her passion for empowering women to find their voice and supporting their journey toward healing and holistic well-being. She lives in the King William neighborhood of San Antonio with her husband and baby girl. An Enneagram 1, optimist, avid traveler, and wannabe runner, Taryn loves exploring her city with a coffee in hand and dreaming up her next adventure.
