Chanel Stitt is a Communications Associate for the New Economy Initiative, a project of the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan. She specializes in social media, communications strategy, storytelling, newsletters, and project management, combining her passion for supporting small businesses with her dedication to amplifying voices. Chanel has a background in journalism, which includes covering metro Detroit’s small business community for the Detroit Free Press.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in journalism from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and a Master of Science in communications from Syracuse University. She is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
