Her prior experience includes over a decade of leadership roles at Geminus Corporation, where she developed health, safety, and nutrition strategies for Head Start and Early Head Start programs, secured additional funding, and implemented innovative initiatives like mobile health clinics and prenatal doula services. Known for her strategic planning, operational efficiency, and ability to foster collaboration, LaDonya has successfully managed budgets, trained teams, and engaged communities to improve outcomes.
LaDonya holds a Master of Public Administration from Governors State University and a Bachelor of Science in recreation, sport, and tourism with a concentration in sport management from the University of Illinois.
