Ivett is a driven first-generation college graduate from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology with a background in Human Resources, Global Culture, and Psychology. Drawing strength from her roots in Southwest Detroit, Ivett is devoted to fostering civic engagement and building community impact by championing access to education.
She is a Fellow with the Resolution Project, where she co-founded A Girl’s Dream, an organization dedicated to empowering girls through mentorship and collaboration opportunities, encouraging them to pursue careers in S.T.E.A.M. Through the Change Collective, Ivett aims to solidify her strategic leadership, build her network, and gain the capacity needed to grow A Girl’s Dream, further establishing herself as a role model and key resource for women and youth.
