I am a native of Jackson, Mississippi, and a middle school science teacher for the Jackson Public School district. As I approach my 6th year in the classroom, I am earning my Specialist degree in Education Leadership from Mississippi College with aspirations of becoming a building principal. I joined the Change Collective to learn the skills needed to be an effective leader in promoting positive change for the communities of students of Jackson, MS.
