Jalia is a healthcare professional with over five years of combined experience in emergency response, industrial health, occupational health, and over ten years of youth leadership. Humbly hailing from the birthplace — and home — of Mardi Gras, Mobile, AL, Jalia made the transition back to Mississippi in 2024. She has since served her community in medical capacities and has given tirelessly to help her fellow community members in their times of need. Jalia listens to and sees how her community needs aid and she has prepared herself to be the change that she wishes to see.
