I am a software engineer, a diversity advocate for the DEI committee at Wayne State University’s College of Engineering, and a previous Microsoft TEALS AP Computer Science Volunteer Teacher. After teaching coding for six years, my mission became to break barriers for women in tech. I’m looking forward to working with my community and the folx in the program while launching my non-profit program, Lunch & Code, focusing on providing Computer Science knowledge to 8th graders in Detroit Public Schools.
