Henry Goss, Jr., is the Communications Director at Mississippi Votes, a nonpartisan 501(c)(3) dedicated to empowering young people across the state. In his role, Henry leads messaging that mobilizes citizens into changemakers and amplifies the organization’s impact.
Driven by a belief in the power of storytelling, Henry shapes narratives that inspire action, build community, and strengthen democracy. He sees media as a transformative tool young people can use to share truth, shift culture, and make their voices heard.
As a member of the Change Collective, Henry equips youth with the skills and confidence to become storytellers, teaching them how to use their experiences and digital platforms to inform communities and spark civic engagement.
Through this work, Henry is deepening his leadership, building cross-community connections, and creating a model where young Mississippians use their own stories to shape the future of their communities and democracy.
