Lisa Foster is a Memphis-born baker, creator, and community visionary dedicated to revitalizing the neighborhoods that raised her. With over a decade of experience as a pastry chef and small business owner, she blends creativity, discipline, and heart into everything she builds — from Fabulous Embellishments, her custom design brand, to Memphis Magic Munchies, her budding dessert venture.
As a caregiver, artist, and neighborhood advocate, Lisa brings deep lived experience to her community work. After learning about local environmental concerns, she joined Memphis Against Pollution, canvassing and educating residents to protect public health. She is now focused on restoring her childhood neighborhood park and laying the groundwork for future projects centered on safety, green spaces, and community pride.
A lifelong learner with roots in Southwest Memphis, Lisa plans to use the Change Collective program to strengthen her leadership skills, expand her network, and bring sustainable, people-centered development to South and Southwest Memphis. She envisions building agricommunities, supporting small Black-owned businesses, and helping her community thrive for generations to come.
