Ryvell D. Fitzpatrick

Ryvell D. Fitzpatrick is a proud native of Ruleville, Mississippi, whose journey has been shaped by a love of learning, a heart for community, and a desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those around him. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from Mississippi State University and a Juris Doctor Degree from Howard University, blending a strong educational foundation with hands-on experience in advocacy and service.

Ryvell began his career teaching in the Mississippi Delta, investing in the lives of young people the way others selflessly invested in him. He has also spent many years working with large school districts in the Washington, D.C. area, gaining valuable experience in education and community development. He has now returned to the Mississippi Delta, and he continues to invest in his home community. Known for his warm, approachable spirit, he has a gift for bringing people together, inspiring action, and turning challenges into meaningful opportunities. Grounded in Southern resilience, curiosity, and a deep sense of service, Ryvell strives every day to live in a way that would make his Granny proud.

A devoted member of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Incorporated, he cherishes community, integrity, and leaving every space and every interaction better than he found it. His journey is a testament to intentional living, perseverance, and the belief that with heart and purpose, positive change is always within reach.
