Heather Eichling is a nonprofit administrator and civic engagement advocate. She is most comfortable working at the grassroots level, but also has experience working for institutional and governmental organizations in the arts and education fields. In 2023 she founded Youth Do Vote, a strictly nonpartisan organization that focuses on high school voter registration, recruitment of student election clerks, and youth civic leadership development. As Executive Director of Youth Do Vote, she is building a local, collaborative network of high school administrators, teachers, and students along with local nonprofit and civic leaders to grow voters in Bexar County. She is also a third generation poll worker for Bexar County, certified as an election judge since 2016 and has lost count of how many elections she has worked — from municipal to presidential!
Heather is the proud daughter of two San Antonio ISD graduates and is a first generation college graduate. She is also mom to two creative and curious boys who will be fourth generation poll workers one day. She holds a B.A. in Art History and Comparative Religion from Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts.
