Rashad T. Dudley

Rashad Dudley is a Detroit-based social entrepreneur, nonprofit leader, and advocate for youth development and empowerment. As the founder of Black Boys Empowered, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing scholarships, mentorship, and community service opportunities for Black boys in Detroit, Rashad works tirelessly to create pathways to success for underserved youth. He is also the author of “Dear Black Boy: A Guide to Self-Empowerment and Building Healthy Habits” and an MBA candidate at Wayne State University, specializing in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. 

With extensive experience in community engagement and program management, Rashad has developed initiatives that foster personal growth, education, and community impact. He is passionate about increasing opportunities for Detroit youth, especially by supporting their journeys to higher education and HBCUs. 

Through the Change Collective experience, Rashad aims to deepen his understanding of scalable social impact strategies, strengthen his leadership skills, and expand his network of changemakers. His goal is to leverage this experience to enhance the reach and sustainability of his nonprofit while continuing to uplift Detroit’s youth and advocate for systemic change. Rashad’s work is rooted in his belief in the transformative power of education, community, and resilience.
