Zoe Dou

Zoe Dou is a first-year student at the University of Texas at San Antonio, majoring in Public Administration and Policy with a minor in Neuroscience. She is particularly passionate about neurodivergent disability advocacy and hopes to use her career to create additional resources, support, and empathy for neurodivergent individuals in classrooms and workplaces.

Through the Change Collective, Zoe hopes to minimize the effects of civic education disparities she has observed in her city, moving San Antonio towards a future where students’ level of preparation and confidence to participate in civic life does not depend on their socioeconomic background. By making civic literacy accessible to students of all backgrounds, she will play a part in building a community where all voices are represented equally.
