Jasmine S. Deskins, MPH

Jasmine S. Deskins, MPH, is a dedicated public health professional with over a decade of experience in program management, evaluation, systemic reviews, and successful grant writing, with a core focus on HIV intervention. She is passionately committed to advancing health equity and directly addressing health disparities through rigorous, evidence-based interventions and culturally competent, community-centered approaches.

Jasmine has successfully collaborated with diverse stakeholders to implement high-impact public health initiatives, improving outcomes at the local, regional, and national levels. A significant part of this work involves contributing directly to Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE) strategies in the U.S. and conducting pivotal systemic reviews with Northwestern University focused on innovation and implementation determinants of HIV testing and linkage-to-care.

Her expertise in securing essential funding is highlighted by her track record of receiving over $400,000 in awarded grants to support vital public health programs. Additionally, she served as the Health and Wellness Director on the Board of Directors for Indiana Pride of Color, Inc., where she focused on co-powering with marginalized communities, particularly those impacted by HIV/AIDS, through culturally relevant health initiatives.

Jasmine earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of Toledo and a Master of Public Health with a concentration in Social and Behavioral Sciences from the Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health at Indiana University-Indianapolis.
