Katelyn Davis is the Founder of Joyride Group, an integrated storytelling firm dedicated to the intersection of automotive, mobility tech, and transportation. As an award-winning communications and marketing leader, Davis works with entrepreneurs and startups on powerful narratives that will drive and accelerate the monumental impact the future of mobility will have on society.
Prior to founding Joyride, Davis spent more than a decade of experience in mobility working alongside automakers, suppliers, startups, venture capitalists, community organizations, and government bodies to develop better and more efficient ways to move people, goods, and services. In 2017, Davis co-founded Detroit Moves, an annual community festival and forum that aims to connect the local community and the local mobility ecosystem to focus on human-centered design and collaboration. Davis is often a featured thought leader on community engagement, gender equity, and trends as it pertains to the mobility sector.
Davis co-wrote Women Driven Mobility: Rethinking the Way the World Moves—which features a foreword penned by Michigan’s Governor Gretchen Whitmer. She was named as one of the Most Influential Startup PR Professionals in the World in 2023 and in 2021 was recognized among Detroit’s 30 in their Thirties. Davis is also a graduate of Leadership Detroit.
