Brandi Coleman

Brandi Coleman is the founder and executive director of The Lemonade Circle, a grassroots nonprofit dedicated to empowering girls and young women of color to lead, learn, and create change within their communities. A lifelong educator and advocate, Brandi blends her background in teaching with her passion for identity-affirming, culturally responsive programming to create safe, joyful spaces where youth can discover their voices and realize their potential.

Under her leadership, The Lemonade Circle has launched transformative initiatives — including STEM programming, Literacy Lounges, civic engagement cohorts, and college and career readiness pathways — that center belonging, leadership, and purpose. Brandi is known for her visionary approach, community-rooted partnerships, and unwavering belief that young people can “make lemonade” out of life’s challenges.

Through the Change Collective experience, Brandi will focus on strengthening strategic partnerships, expanding youth leadership opportunities, and deepening her capacity to build sustainable, community-driven systems of support. She hopes to amplify the voices of Black girls, foster intergenerational engagement, and design programs that uplift families and neighborhoods across San Antonio and beyond.

Brandi’s work is anchored in service, storytelling, and social impact — creating pathways for young people to lead with confidence, courage, and purpose.
