Angelica Cervantes

Angelica Cervantes is a licensed clinical social worker with over 17 years of experience serving diverse populations, including pregnant and parenting teens, foster care youth, individuals with disabilities, adoptive families, and survivors of trafficking, sexual trauma, and domestic violence. As Chief Operations Officer at YWCA SA, she oversees all program operations, including the development of the Women’s Live and Learn Center, focusing on trauma-informed best practices. Angelica also shares her expertise as Adjunct Faculty at UTSA’s Department of Social Work and holds certifications as a TBRI Practitioner, Bridges out of Poverty trainer, and clinical supervisor. Passionate about empowerment through collaboration, Angelica finds daily inspiration in serving others and witnessing the resilience of the human spirit.

Excited to contribute to the Change Collective, Angelica will collaborate across public and private sectors to create equitable pathways for economic and housing resources in San Antonio. She looks forward to continuing her journey of impact and innovation, fostering resilience and community strength at every opportunity.
