Niles Brooks

Niles is a proud Memphian with a background in nonprofit leadership and fundraising. He now serves as executive director of The Equal Justice Project. A Pomona College graduate with a B.A. in International Relations, he is passionate about the intersection of world politics, public policy, and community development.

Inspired in part by W.E.B. Du Bois’s ideas of self-direction, his vision is to empower young Memphians to become the leaders who guide their communities toward long-term prosperity and well-being.

He advances this vision through grassroots initiatives that provide college-readiness support and, soon, immersive experiences abroad—equipping them to be informed, globally minded thinkers.
