Robyn Breland

Robyn B. Breland is the Director of Health Initiatives at Special Olympics Mississippi. Robyn oversees and implements various health-related programs and initiatives for athletes and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This includes developing and managing health and fitness programming, recruiting and training medical volunteers, advocating for health awareness, researching health disparities, and coordinating large-scale sports and health events.

Boasting over 15 years of distinguished experience in program development, marketing, event planning, and fundraising, Robyn has demonstrated her dedication to making a positive impact. Her strategic leadership and innovative thinking have played pivotal roles in advancing the mission of multiple nonprofit organizations.

Robyn’s academic journey reflects her commitment to excellence. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree with an emphasis on Marketing from Jackson State University. She also earned her Master of Business Administration from Mississippi College, equipping her with a strong marketing, business strategy, and management foundation. Furthering her knowledge and capabilities, she pursued additional coursework in Strategic Public Relations at George Washington University.

Beyond her professional achievements, Robyn is a dedicated advocate for inclusion, health equity, and the transformative power of sports. Her visionary leadership and remarkable dedication continue to drive positive change within the Special Olympics and beyond.
