I am a Mississippi-born and raised racial justice attorney. Through my work leading the Legal Defense Fund’s year-round election protection and voter education efforts and litigating voting rights cases, I use legal, organizing, and advocacy tools to help defend and advance Black political power throughout the South. I am excited to use this experience to help build a truly inclusive, multi-racial democracy, starting with my community here in Jackson.
