Fellowship Enrollment
Terms and Conditions

By enrolling the Change Collective Fellowship program, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions. Please review them carefully before payment.

1. Eligibility and Enrollment

  • The Change Collective Fellowship is open to individuals who meet the eligibility criteria published on our application page and are accepted into the program through our application process.
  • Payment of the Enrollment Fee confirms your place in the fellowship.
  • The Enrollment Fee is $950 and is due three weeks before the program begins.
  • Payment is made via the EveryAction payment form. If an employer or sponsor is paying by check, they must complete the Change Collective Sponsor Form.

2. Enrollment Fee

  • The Enrollment Fee may be paid in full or via an approved payment plan, as offered on the payment form.
  • A limited number of fee waivers are available; see the program FAQ for details and application requirements.
  • The Enrollment Fee covers participation in the Change Collective Fellowship as described in program materials. It does not cover personal expenses such as travel, lodging, or meals unless explicitly stated.

3. Refund and Cancellation Policy

  • You may cancel your enrollment within two weeks after the first local lab for a full refund.
  • After this period, the Enrollment Fee is non-refundable, regardless of participation level or withdrawal.
  • No partial refunds are available.
  • If Change Collective cancels or significantly alters the Fellowship, refunds may be issued on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of Change Collective.

4. Participant Expectations

  • Participants must complete the program requirements, including the Civic Action Plan, to receive a completion certificate, qualify for the membership network, and be invited to the National Change Lab.
  • Violation of the code of conduct or failure to meet participation requirements may result in removal from the program without refund.

5. Code of Conduct

By paying the Enrollment Fee, you agree to adhere to the Change Collective Community Agreement/Norms guidelines, such as:

  • Treat all fellowship members, staff, and guests with respect and inclusivity. 
  • Do not engage in harassment, discrimination, or offensive behavior. 
  • Avoid using the membership network for political activity, personal commercial gain, or solicitation. 
  • Report any misconduct or violations to [email protected]. 

Failure to comply may result in suspension or termination of membership.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

  • By enrolling, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as outlined in the Civic Nation Privacy Policy.
  • Information may be used for program communications, updates, invitations, and engagement tracking.
  • Civic Nation does not sell member data but may share information with affiliated initiatives or organizations that align with its mission.
  • Members can update their communication preferences or opt out at any time by contacting support at [email protected].

7. Intellectual Property and Content Use

  • Any content submitted by participants (e.g., testimonials, photos, blog posts) (“Member Content”) may be used by Change Collective for marketing, promotional, or educational purposes with credit to the contributor when possible.  You understand and agree that any information or content you submit is non-confidential and, unless otherwise specified, you grant Civic Nation and our affiliates a nonexclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, assignable, transferable, and fully sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, and display such Member Content throughout the world in any manner or media now known or later developed, including but not limited to fundraising and other communications by us without any right of compensation. You waive any moral rights you may have to the Member Content you submit. You represent and warrant that you own and control all of the rights to the Member Content that you submit, or you otherwise have the right to post such Member Content and that the Member Content you supply does not violate these Terms and will not violate any rights of or cause injury to any person or entity. 
  • Participants must respect copyright and intellectual property rights when sharing content within the network. 

8. Event Participation and Liability

  • Participants attending in-person or virtual events must comply with event-specific guidelines. 
  • Change Collective is not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages incurred during participation in program-related activities.

9. Amendments to These Terms

  • By enrolling, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as outlined in the Civic Nation Privacy Policy.
  • Information may be used for program communications, updates, invitations, and engagement tracking.
  • Civic Nation does not sell member data but may share information with affiliated initiatives or organizations that align with its mission.
